Mark your calendars, call the baby sitter, notify the in-laws, but in any event be prepared to arrive at the destination of a life time February 27, 2016. That is only 8 months, 40 weeks, or 292 days away! The dates we have selected for the 2016 Convention are February 27-March 5, 2016.
The dates were not selected at random. Bangkok is the most visited city in the world, and thus we wanted to arrive at a time when we could have the most of it with as few crowds as possible. Thus, we are going after Chinese New Year, before Japanese Golden Week, and avoiding the Russian Holidays that tend to clog things up. In short, it is the perfect week. Temperatures at this time of the year are ideal. Bangkok temperatures should average from mid to high 80’s in the day time (they do get much warmer towards April) to the low 70’s at night.
Watch your email, as you will be receiving much information over the next several weeks. For example, we will be informing you of location(s), city(ies), and activities that will be visited/experienced. Future emails will be telling you about the flight credit program and possible routes you can take enroute to Thailand. There are many gateway cities to include Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, Amsterdam, and Tokyo that you might want to consider. Hotel(s) that we have selected, foods to eat, restaurants, ground transportation, packing lists, all will be forthcoming. I think you will be pleased.
Thanks for the work! I know the requirements for many have been increased, but believe me the goal is worth the effort. For any who are on that edge of qualification, it is not too late! Step up the effort just a little and join us on the other side of the world next February for a truly memorable experience.
