It’s freezing outside … I wonder what it feels like in Monte Carlo? Just think of that warm Mediterranean breeze kissing your cheeks. That’s what it will be for our sales qualifiers in May 2019. The picture above is looking across the sun deck of the Monte Carlo Bay Resort which will be home base for the trip. Now, let me explain what you are looking at. Under the round roof (Monaco’s version of the Tabernacle) is a big indoor swimming pool surrounded by hot tubs. From there you can swim, yes swim outside to the outdoor pool. Next to the outdoor pool is the lagoon for you who want to get sand in between your toes without actually going to the beach. More hot tubs and lounge chairs. Want to take a few strokes in the actual Mediterranean Sea? That’s just a few more steps away. Not to worry, your cool beverage will be right there waiting…more lounge chairs and umbrellas. (Those of us who got in the water in Thailand need not worry about jellyfish here. The swimming areas are surrounded by nets to keep those pesky buggers out. I got in the water several times on the French Riviera…no problem). Take just a minute. Turn away from that snow covered landscape out your window, lean back in your chair and imagine yourself there. Go ahead, take one more minute. Ok, that’s enough, get to work…you won’t want to be left behind.
